Sherman I. Chu is a partner and co-founder of Grayhawk Capital and Cornerstone Equity Partners. He has a diversified background in various financing disciplines spanning the last 19 years. He started his career with Banc One Corporation, providing senior and mezzanine financing to middle market companies, then co-founded Cornerstone and Grayhawk, totaling $155 million in commitments under management. Cornerstone and Grayhawk provided growth and buy-out capital to companies of various stages operating in diverse industries. Mr. Chu has been involved at the board level of 13 privately-held companies. He graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.

Brian N. Burns is a partner and co-founder of Grayhawk Capital. He has been a part of the Phoenix private investment arena for the past nineteen years, investing in technology, retail, distribution, media, healthcare and many other industries. Before joining his partners in forming Grayhawk, Mr. Burns served as vice-president and chief financial officer of the investment subsidiary of Pinnacle West Capital Corp., a $3 billion NYSE company. Mr. Burns began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and became a senior manager in the audit division before moving on to hold senior positions as vice president and chief financial officer for several private equity investment companies and operating companies. Mr. Burns has served on the board of 14 privately held companies. He has been a certified public accountant since 1984. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting.
